OUR STORY

Rosie is an ex Early Years and SEN Teacher, having taught in special and mainstream settings both in the UK and Malaysia. Most importantly though, she is mum to three amazing children - Max, Daisy and Mylo. Since Max was born in 2019 Rosie has taught parent and baby classes part time, and in 2025 decided to take this full time, combining it with a family friendly play cafe setting.

After lots of research and months searching for the perfect venue, Rosie found 21 West Street in Tavistock.

Little Goose Play Cafe opened in August 2025, with input from hundreds of local families who contributed to our surveys, combined with Rosie's Early Years experience and desire to create a safe, welcoming and inclusive indoor playspace that both parents and their children wanted to visit.

 

We have worked hard to create a calm environment where everyone from the youngest baby to the oldest grandparent who visits can engage with and explore our carefully chosen resources. Our play cafe serves delicious fresh cakes and bakes from local businesses, as well as a range of allergy friendly snacks and of course plenty of tasty hot drinks from lattes to hot chocolates - there really is something for everyone.
